Yoyo Yummiesss, the new wafer in town wanted a direct and fresh appeal. At an affordable price point the designs needed to be attractive to a varied demographic in India, including children - a mass product with a mass appeal.
The identity is built with fun rounded type characters, two animal characters are embedded in the word mark - a bear and a lion. Animals are a common theme in this product category and we chose to retain this practice.
For the packaging a system was created, based on which the 5 variants were developed. We chose a combination of pastel and dark colours, inspired by the way the wafer is always lighter in colour than the cream packed inside it.
