Worktree crafts everyday homeware made with responsibly sourced Acacia wood. The range of meticulously handmade kitchen cutlery, combs and soap dishes needed a packaging system that enabled a better display of the products, while expressing the brand ethos.
The packaging had to be plastic-free while displaying as much of the product as possible. This lead to the creation of eco-friendly packaging structures that can hold the products while having the ability to hang through the euro slots. For the fabrication, the use of corrugated kraft board in combination with screen-printing adds an earthy appeal to the packaging, further complementing the earthy products.
The design system uses a simple, adaptable and strong information hierarchy to tackle the numerous products varying in functionality, size and shape. Accents of the brand colours - dark teal and yellow add a dash of vibrancy to the design.
The new packaging solution has added to the brand and products in many ways - clear information, better displayability, improved brand visibility and reinforcement of the brand ethos, while being economical and easy to stock.
