Naming & Identity Design - for a concept bath & kitchen store in Kollam, India.
Kollam’s leading electrical and sanitary store was looking for a name and identity for their upcoming project - a hospitable space offering reputed products for bath and kitchen, with consultancy for improved planning and construction and the hosting of related events. Customers who are passionate about making their homes could now find technical and aesthetic expertise in an inviting and warm space.
From the proposed name options, Open House was chosen - cordial, welcoming and memorable in appeal.
The identity has been designed to capture the idea of an open window looking into a home. Every home has its own character with different needs. The open window symbolises the know-how and insights that Open House offers to cater to these needs. A warm brick red colour is used in the identity to match the earthy architecture of the building. 
Minimal illustrations (matching with the window from the identity) of spaces and elements in a home have been used on the stationery and secondary communication. This builds further on the visual identity of Open House.
The store and experience centre is now open, helping make better homes.
